David Miles, MD, MBBS, BSc, FRCP is a consultant in medical oncology at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex, United Kingdom, where he specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer. He trained in medicine at the University College Hospital and underwent specialist training at King’s College London, University College London, and Guy’s Hospital in London, and was awarded an Imperial Cancer Research Fund Fellowship. After completing his higher degree, he was named senior lecturer/consultant to the Guy’s Breast Unit.

Dr Miles’ research focuses on the biological treatment of breast cancer. He is also a national and international principal investigator in studies of novel agents for the treatment of breast cancer.

Dr Miles regularly contributes at national and international oncology meetings and has been published in many industry and peer-reviewed publications.
