Maura N. Dickler, MD is assistant attending physician at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. Dr Dickler received her medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals followed by a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.

Dr Dickler’s research focuses on both designing and conducting clinical trials on new therapies for the treatment of breast cancer, emphasizing therapy targeting estrogen and growth factor signaling pathways, including ER, VEGF, EGFR/HER1, and HER2. Dr Dickler is principal or co-investigator of several ongoing clinical protocols.

Dr Dickler is a member of the New York Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine. She currently serves on the CALGB Breast Committee, the ASCO Breast Cancer Education Committee, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Promise Grants Scientific Peer Review Committee. She was previously assistant editor for The Women’s Oncology Review, medical oncology section, and presently serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals, including The Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, Critical Reviews in Hematology and Oncology, and Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. Dr Dickler has published 20 peer-reviewed articles, 18 review articles or book chapters, and numerous abstracts.
